This page contains information about the Mid Atlantic African Violet Society 2001 convention which was held in Raleigh, North Carolina from November 8 - 10. The theme for 2001 was "A Carolina Patchwork of Violets".

Location

"A Carolina Patchwork of Violets" was a great success at the Four Points Hotel Raleigh Crabtree in Raleigh, North Carolina. Perfect Fall weather under clear Carolina blue skies and temperatures in the seventies made a perfect backdrop for showing and enjoying violets. Hanging from quilt frames surrounding the commercial sales room and the violet show room were many full size quilts. Quilt designs included standard nine patch, bear claws, wedding ring, log cabin, appliqué and numerous traditional quilts.
