The "Carolina Patchwork of Violets"
banquets were a chance to catch up on old friendships while enjoying good and
fine conservation. Friday night, November 9, the fare was a Carolina barbecue
buffet and bluegrass ensemble entertainment. The Saturday,
November 10, banquet was more formal and consisted of the awards
presentations and installation of MAAVS officers.
