Commercial Vendors

MAAVS Commercial vendors turned out to support the convention. We had more this year than ever before which is a far cry from 10 years ago when there were 3 vendors in Richmond, VA. You've come a long way baby - go MAAVS.

They're retired and insist this is the last time but we look forward to Bill and Kathryn of Violets by Appointment joining us next year. Good things are hard to give up, especially the quality violets they provide us.

Doris and John of Acas Violetry enjoy a quiet moment together. It's always fun to see the Brownlie's again.

My personal favorite, Libbie of Bluebird Greenhouse, helps Dave Dick of the Richmond club with a plant that I'm sure we'll see on the honors table next year at Richmond. You heard it here first!

The "kid in the candy store", Libbie,  looks at violet leaves displayed by Violets by Appointment.

As much as I would love to label this "a couple of old dogs", I won't. (hee hee)

Linda and Charlie help a customer.

John Cook of Cape Cod Violetry demonstrates his new pricing machine. John likes new toys.

Svetlana of EZ Flowers sells unique violets made of tiny beads hand strung together.

John Brownlie catches up on the news of the day. Violet vendors have a tough life!

Paul Sorano happily tends the tables of Lyndon Lyons Greenhouse..

Fay Wagman of Violet Venture is tending to her table. Fay keeps insisting the 2006 MAAVS convention should be in the New York TriState area but then keeps insisting she can't find a hotel that will have us at our cheap rates. Help Fay find a hotel for MAAVS 2006.

Olive and Rob of the Violet Barn relax from the busy pace of MAAVS.

But wait, there's more...
